Specialty (are they better with technology or magic?): Not able to use magic at all, Calandra’s strengths lie in working with technology. She is especially good at fixing and building machines out of limited or primitive materials. One of her favorite things to do is take things apart and figure out how they work, which she refers to as “reverse engineering.” Most of the time she’s able to put things back together the way they were. Occasionally she’ll make improvements. Well, she considers them improvements. Who wouldn’t want a bread maker that also gives off entertaining light shows?
Skill level (how long have they worked for T.H.E.Y.?): Recruited when she was twenty-five, Calandra is nearing her tenth year as a T.H.E.Y. employee. She’s been working as a field agent for about four years. Her skill at fixing technology usually gets her sent to less advanced worlds, and her supposedly unflappable personality usually gets her sent to the really weird worlds.
Basic personality: While she’s not as calm and collected as rumor says she is, Calandra is the type to take things in stride and isn’t given to panicking. She’s also a great believer in keeping things organized and making sure she has every detail and all the information straight before acting, something that can be a problem in situations that call for impulsive action. A lapsed Catholic, Calandra isn’t too good at things like making it to church every Sunday or keeping all the Commandments, but she still has faith in God and in her patron saint, Raphael.
